Our classroom
Ms. Warren |
I have taught throughout Halifax and Dartmouth, primarily in P-2 and Learning Centre. My road to teaching has been a winding one. I grew up in Ontario. As a child, I wanted to become a writer, and would write and read like mad whenever I have the chance. In high school, I discovered the wonder of biology and wanted to save the world. I studied plants and insects and birds in university. I travelled to the rainforest and counted frogs and sea turtle eggs and howler monkeys, and in the Everglades studied an endangered sparrow (alligators and snakes, oh my!). I made my way to the Maritimes, studying woodpeckers in New Brunswick. I absolutely love bringing my love of literature and science into my classroom. And even more so, I love to continue learn about how each student learns best and explore their interests.

Mrs. Klyne |
For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a teacher. In 1994, that
dream became reality and I have been working with children ever since. Whether it as a teaching assistant, a home childcare provider or a teacher, I have enjoyed working with children of all ages. But if the truth be told, my heart belongs in grade Primary. I am passionate about getting children outside; exploring, learning and caring for their natural environment, running, playing and getting dirty. This is my first year at G.W.P.E.S as a teacher. I look forward to working with and getting to know your children and Ms. Warren. It is going to be fabulous!! |
